Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy explains how True North Memories processes and ships orders. All pricing and shipping rates are calculated in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

1. Order Processing & Production Time

Because your photo magnets are custom-printed just for you, our standard production time is 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Canadian holidays). During peak periods and holiday seasons, please allow up to 5 business days for our team to print, assemble, and pack your items. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

2. Shipping Methods & Costs (Canada & USA)

We proudly ship across Canada and to the United States. To keep the checkout process simple, we offer the following flat-rate shipping options based on your location and order value:

Canada Shipping

  • Standard Shipping (3-5 business days): $9.95 flat rate for all orders under $75.00.
  • Free Standard Shipping: Automatically applied to all orders of $75.00 or more.
  • Express Shipping (1-2 business days): $20.00 flat rate.

United States Shipping

  • Standard USA (5-8 business days): $15.00 flat rate for all orders under $75.00.
  • Free USA Shipping: Automatically applied to all orders of $75.00 or more.

*Note: Applicable provincial and federal taxes (such as GST, HST, or PST) for Canadian orders will be calculated and clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your payment.

3. US Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

Orders shipped to the United States are considered international shipments and may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by US border authorities. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and must be paid upon delivery. True North Memories has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are not responsible for delivery delays due to customs processing.

4. Lost or Damaged Packages

Once a package is handed over to the carrier and marked as delivered, responsibility transfers to the buyer. However, your satisfaction is our priority! If your custom magnets arrive visibly damaged in transit, please retain all packaging and contact us via our website form or email at sales@truenorthmemories.ca within 14 days of delivery. Please include clear photos of the damaged items so we can arrange a free remake and replacement.

5. Address Accuracy

Please ensure you provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery delays, lost packages, or additional re-shipping fees caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
